Radamel Falcao returns to La Liga with Rayo Vallecano

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao has made a comeback to the Spanish league by signing with the modest club Rayo Vallecano. The announcement of the signing was made by Rayo on Saturday, although specific details regarding the length of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

At 35 years old, Falcao joins Rayo Vallecano as a free agent, having concluded his stint with Turkey’s Galatasaray at the conclusion of the previous season. The seasoned striker enjoyed significant success during his two seasons with Atlético Madrid from 2011 to 2013, contributing to the team’s victories in the Europa League and the Copa del Rey. Subsequently, Falcao continued his career with stints at Monaco, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Now, he becomes part of Rayo Vallecano, a Madrid-based club that recently returned to the first division. Currently occupying the 10th position with one win in three rounds, Rayo Vallecano aims to further strengthen its squad with the addition of Falcao’s experience and goal-scoring prowess.
